The International MycotoxinConference 2014 will take place in the Friendship Hotel in Beijing, China, from May 19 to 23, 2014, hosted by Institute of Food Science and Technology, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, International Society forMycotoxin and Division of Mycotoxicology, Mycological Society of China.
The International Mycotoxin Conference 2014will follow the success of previous ISM-MyCoRedconference organized in Austria (2009), Indonesia(2010), Argentina(2011), Canada(2012) and Italy(2013). It is the world's premier conference of leading scientists in the active fields of mycotoxin, and expected to attract about 500 participants from all the world to their new achievements in these fields. The theme of this conference is perspectives on the global prevention and control of mycotoxins, and focus on role of public and private sectors on mycotoxin prevention and control, major prevention strategies on mycotoxins at global level, pre-harvest mycotoxin control, post-harvest mycotoxin control, molecular pathways on mycotoxin production, toxicology & impact of mycotoxins in humans & animals, mycotoxin reduction/detoxification in food & feed, mycotoxin detection – analytical methods/biomarkers, mycotoxin contamination in food, feed & traditional herbs, biodiversity & population genetics of toxigenic fungi, genomics of toxigenic fungi. The selected 24 papers will be published in the conference special issue of “Food Additives & Contaminants”. You are cordially invited to attend the International Mycotoxin Conference 2014. Scientific Program
The International Mycotoxin Conference will include oral and poster sessions; tutorials given by experts in state-of-the-art topics. Prospective authors are invited to present their latest results in all of the areas ofmycotoxins.

Presentation Guideline
Oral Presentation
The offcial language of the confernece is English. The plenary and invited presentations will be 20minutes, and the oral presentation will be 10 minutes, including the time for questions and discussions. Multi-media projector with personal computer will be available for presentations. Multi-media presentations should be prepared in Windows compatible format in English.The presentation file should be pre-loaded in the conference computer when you register, if you have not prepared well, no later than 10 minutes before the session begins.
Poster Presentation
1. Display board
A display board with 110cm high by 90cm wide will be provided foreach poster presentation. The poster can be mounted with adhesive bands, which will be provided at the registration site.
2. General Appearance
Poster presentation should include the title, abstract, main textfigures and/or tables, diagrams and conclusions. Please include your contact data (names, institute, address, phone, fax, E-mail).Use of color in the poster presentation makes visual communication more effective. Textual and graphic illustrations should be kept simple but effective.
3. Lettering
All poster lettering should be typewritten. Since your poster will be read at distance of a couple of meters, use appropriate size lettering.
4. Set-up and Presentation
Authors or their representative must be in attendance to set-up their display and to present their posters at the session time designated in the scientific program.

Transportation to the Conference Site
The Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) is about 30 kilometers away from the Beijing Friendship Hotel. You can use several kinds of public transportation from there to the hotel.


At the exit of the arrival hall, you can take a taxi to the hotel. Usually, the expense for the trip is about 90 Yuan RMB. (It will cost more if there is traffic jam or at night.) Additionally, you have to reimburse a road fee of 10 Yuan RMB to the taxi driver.

Tips: You can take a taxi from any place in the city back to the hotel. Remember to take the cab with an authorized sign of “Taxi”, pay the fee shown on the taximeter inside the cab and keep the printed receipt.

You could take the Airport Bus [Line 4 - Capital Airport to Gongzhufen] Get off the bus at Friendship Hotel. Ticket for Single trip costs 24 RMB.

Subway Fares
A flat fare of RMB¥ 2.00 with unlimited transfers applies to all lines except the Airport Express, which costs RMB¥ 25.




Venue and Accommodation
The conference Venue will be arranged at the Beijing Friendship Hotel in Beijing, China. The main conference room isJu Ying Hall at the second floor of the Friendship Palace. The branch conference rooms are arranged at Room 1 and Room 5 in Building 8.
Accommodation for participants is arranged at Building No. 1, Building No. 2 and Building No. 4 of Beijing Friendship Hotel. Please check in at the front desk of the hotel where you can find your reservation record before the conference registration.
If you have made the hotel reservation online, but you have not received Housing form, please email Ms. Yan at: chyan@cashq.ac.cn for confirmation.

The registration desk is located at the lobby of Friendship Palace of the Beijing Friendship Hotel. It will be open on Monday, May 19, 2014, from8:30 to 18:00, during which time on-site registration and the distribution of conference materials (including the book of abstracts, pen, notebook and meal coupons) and the badge will proceed.
Participants who are not accommodated in the designated hotels could register from 8:00 on Tuesday, May 20, 2014.
